Unique and offbeat. Great way to explore the things you wouldn't normally see.
The tour leader was great. It made me wonder how great it would be to have him lead a serious architectural tour of LA, since ther's so much I don't know about. This...continued

The South Los Angeles Architectural Tour was a chance to see some historic, intriguing places in Los Angeles, many of which I've passed by (or at least close to) very often but of which I never knew. This tour re-excited me about living in Los...continued

I love these tours. Definitely off the beaten track and you will get to see things that you probably didn't even know existed. The personal touches and stories are a plus.

This was a smart, funny, comfortable, interesting experience that could not have been enjoyed any way but through the efforts of Esotouric with their good research and community relations. A great, intelligent way to learn more about our unwieldy...continued

I've lived in Los Angeles a long time, but rarely think about or experience the places we went to on this tour. Interesting info and some happy surprising places.

We got stuck in traffic and showed up 5 minutes late, only to see the bus drive off without us. There was no courtesy call to ask if we were on our way. I understand the tour had a schedule to keep, but if they could have had the decency to call,...continued

Fascinating tour with a charming leader. By dint of continual research he and his wife know everything worth knowing about LA. I hope to go on almost all the Esotouric tours.

Some very interesting details were shared in a variety of formats. The tour bus was excellent (even had a bathroom) and the few stops were interesting. I will take other tours by them!

Excellent tour! I learned so much about the architectural gems of South Los Angeles. Esotouric takes you off the beaten path into neighborhoods which have hidden treasures. You can't have better hosts than the extremely well-informed Richard...continued

We were disappointed. The first hour was moderately interesting more for the neighborhoods we drove by than anything the tour guide had to say. He keeps talking about his education at UC Santa Cruz in Architecture but shares very little...continued

The tour was interesting. It would have been nice to go into a few more places rather than driving by and talking about what building used to be there. The tour director seemed to be working his own agenda.

What we were shown couldn't be named hidden gems. This is ridiculous! A lot of old industrial ugly looking buildings make the tour very exotic. Santa Fe Clarks’ estates are nice, but again nothing special. Pastries at Tropicana café were really...continued
