7 Actors on a stage telling funny stories from their lives growing up. Much funnier than I expected - beat out many of the improv shows I've seen at the groundlings over the years on the laugh-o-meter. Just an hour of fun - short and sweet not too long. Good times, more please.

An informal gathering of some very accomplished character actors who you will recognize from tv and movies.

It's like spending the evening in good company with interesting people who tell great stories.

Definitely worth the price of admission.

Like any show at the groundlings, consistency is out the door, but the shows are generally good to great. This is not like a regular improv show. The performers literally sit in chairs on the stage and have a conversation revolving around a theme. The show I went to was about pranks they had done. There were only about two or three funny stories and the rest were "you had to be there" situations. The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater does a similar type of show called the shit show. They however feature pretty big tv and film stars which makes the show much more interesting and funny. It's also cheaper than the groundlings- free as I remember. But you must make reservations.

These performers were nearly unrecognizable and did not feed off of each other very well. One guy was late and said nearly nothing the rest of the show. The show was just one hour and very underwhelming. Not worth the drive to Melrose. Got to a regular groundlings show to get the big laughs.
