“Authentic Baroque performance at its best.” —New York Times
Legendary for their annual Baroque Christmas concerts performed at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, these five graduates from the prestigious Juilliard School have showcased their scholarly insight, virtuosic artistry and uncompromisingly imaginative programs on more than a dozen recordings and in concert halls throughout the world. Combining the intimacy of chamber music playing with the outgoing flamboyance of a world-class baroque orchestra, the Aulos Ensemble will perform with an elite group of America’s foremost “original instrument” players in a program that features one of the most popular and ethereally beautiful pieces in music literature, Handel’s Water Music.
