This is a great play. Well written and directed. The roll of Wanda and Al were excellent. The other 3 actors were weak and their performance didn't look organic.

The production itself was fine even if the set design could have used some degree of thought and care. Vastly more important, though, were the very interesting questions the play brings up around the issue of private adoption.

Description

The Baby Dance, by playwright and screenwriter Jane Anderson (Mad Men, It Could Happen To You), hits today’s hot topics of adoption and designer babies. This short play dances around the subject of parenting and those who wish to be parents, throwing a combination of punches that will take you on a thought-provoking ride. Take a peek into a world where greed and desperation collide with vanity and sorrow. There’s never been a better time for this emotional and powerful piece of theater.
