a fun and different night out if you're looking for comedy but are tired of the same old stand-up shtick.

It was more fun than I expected, these people are really talented, it is definitely something fun to do. My girlfriend and I loved it, we are planning to attend again and take our friends with us.

Hit and miss comics (although the material is often the real culprit), excellent band, intimate theater -- overall a nice value for a fun night out.

I've been to other Groundling shows and they have been much better than this one. It was just o.k. and I really wouldn't recommend this show, but I do recommend going to the other Groundlings shows.

It wasn't funny at all.. the performers were amateurs & not funny at all. I do not recommend it.

Small venue but plenty of seating. The audience creates the outline for the performers which can be extremely funny.

Excellent show. The performers were great and the band was awesome. We had a great time. Highly recommend it! My only caution is the bar across the street from the theatre is not very good. The staff is rude. But there are plenty of other fun places to go (Village Idiot, and this very cool jazz bar just down the street from VI).

Groundlings, The Completely Different Late Show, is all improv based on suggestions from the audience. The theatre is small and cozy, it really draws you in close with the actors.

It runs about 90 minutes. Buying tickets on goldstar, as usual, makes the evening SUPER affordable. I think this is some of the best entertainment for your buck.

I definitely plan to go back with friends.

The show was great! Very very funny, quick-paced, and all around entertaining. I can see how it would get tiresome if you went to it often, but with all of the options at Groundlings...why would you? No big celebs the night we went, but we did get to see the woman from the Progressive commercials (you know, the one with the name tag and the red lipstick?). It was a great time.

Like watching SNL live and close up. The band is great, the skits clever and funny. The Groundlings are always fun to watch.

And buying through Goldstar moves you to the front of the line for seating. What a great value.

I love to support the Groundlings. Always funny. While I liked the polish of their recent Key Party show, this show, which is a little more laid back, was fun also.

It's shorter than the first show (more like 60 minutes with no intermission vs. the former's 95 minutes with intermission), but is still mostly-hit-occasional-miss skit fun. Tonight I called out "Ark of the Covenant" and it got used but neither of the actors onstage knew what it was, so they had trouble (which was amusing in and of itself!) The band remains peppy and smart.

This is SO funny. We had an awesome time, the show was hilarious and the theater is great. Much better than a movie or whatever else -- I highly recommend.

I've been to the late show a few months back and the concept was still the same except with different topics this time around. A lot of the acts were cut short and could have gone longer for it to be more entertaining. All in all, going to this show once should be enough. Don't think we'd ever come back to see another late show.

However, it was nice to see Mikey from Wild n' Out!

World-class comedy improv from the legendary Groundlings theater. The completely different late show is the companion to the scripted "Shut Up and Eat your Groundlings". Either show is excellent but I have found the scripted shows to be funnier as of late.

If you are a fan of laughing (or need a really great date spot) be sure to check this one out!

I've been to four GROUNDLINGS shows. This one only has two funny scenes and the rest are boring. It's also a very long show with no intermission. My advice is to stick to the 8 PM Class Reunion one-- it's HILARIOUS!

We weren't sure what to expect, but it had some very memorable moments and we laughed a lot. The format was a sketch or two, with improv bits in between them. A nice mix.

The theatre was very small and intimate - we were in the 2nd row from the back and still felt plenty close.

We enjoyed the little 3 piece band they had too. They would play music while they set the stage for the next bit. They sounded quite good.

We will probably go back to see the early show now. Its a good deal for the money :)
