Switchfoot and The Goo Goo Dolls put on a great show. I was disappointed that Goo Goo Dolls didn't do another encore or play Long Way Down, but otherwise the show was fantastic!Written on Aug 30 2010

It was a great show. The Goo Goo Dolls are amazing performers, and Switchfoot and GRO were enjoyable as well. The theater is incredibly beautiful, with the park, mountains surrounding and moon rising behind the stage. The venue felt very intimate, and every seat was a good one, including our upper deck center seats. We dressed warm and were thankful. It did get very cold and I felt sorry for the girls in the tiny, tiny dresses who froze. Blankets were welcome; outside food and beverage was not (though there wasn't anyone checking that I noted). Parking was fantastically easy, though moderately expensive at $15. This is my new favorite concert venue.Written on Aug 30 2010

Great concert and even greater venue. Was my first time to the Greek, so I was totally impressed. Goo Goo dolls were in great form, Switchfoot didn't play all of their hits, and GRO is a great up and coming band. Unfortunately, we had a group of dope smoking burnouts sit behind us, and with small kids had to move from our seats. No security personal were willing to confront them, so we ended up having to sit higher up.Written on Aug 30 2010

Description
Multi-platinum rock band The Goo Goo Dolls hit the road this summer with a stop at The Greek Theatre in support of their latest release Something For The Rest of Us. Switchfoot and Green River Ordinance will open the show.
The Goo Goo Dolls have announced that the title of their long-awaited forthcoming studio album will be Something for the Rest of Us. The group’s ninth studio album will be released by Warner Bros. Records later this year.
In the meantime, fans can catch The Goo Goo Dolls on the road and hear new songs from Something For The Rest of Us, live before the album's release. Singer/guitarist Johnny Rzeznik, bassist Robby Takac, and drummer Mike Malinin will be joined by opening bands Switchfoot and Green River Ordinance.
Something For The Rest of Us is the follow up to 2006’s Let Love In, which marked The Goo Goo Dolls’ 20th anniversary as a band. The album spawned several Top 10 singles, including “Better Days,” “Stay With You,” and the title track, which gave them their record-breaking twelfth Top 10 hit on the Adult Top 40 chart. Their thirteenth, “Before It’s Too Late,” appeared on the blockbuster Transformers soundtrack.
