I used to be a strong supporter of the Groundlings but not anymore. The last 2 shows I have attended have really lacked in the "funny", kept me completely bored, etc. This one was a really bad show, bad writing, repeat of a scene from an old show (job applicant scene) in the past, actors just not in sync. Won't be going back anymore. Waste of time and money.Written on Dec 05 2011

I have attended many of the The Groundlings events during the past year, but the Holiday Show was not as funny. Normally, most of all the sketches at this event a hilarious. I invited my friends to see it for the first time and they were a bit disappointed. TIcket price was great on Goldstar. It cost $8 plus $3.50 for service fee, which is way better than regular price of $15+. Will I ever go back to The Groundlings in the future? Yup! Three or four shows have been really good and I must say, thats a good record. If the next show turns out to be OK, then I will not consider going back anytime soon. Will I recommend this event to others? Yes! Actors are great and put on a great show. Hope this year The Groundlings can put a better Holiday Show than last years.Written on Feb 01 2010
