My husband and I enjoyed this show very much. Brought back some fun memories. The Greek theather is a wonderful place to see a show on a summer night. There isn't a bad seat in the place. Go early so you get a parking space up front, otherwise there is stack parking and it crazy trying to get out after the show. All in all it was a fun night out.

It was amazing to see these rockers that were so instrumental in the rock scene (pun intended) and they still sound great! The girl who sang Janis Joplin sounded just like her but had her own voice and style on other songs. Starship was GREAT even with a replacement singer! Rock on!

I tried to like this event but I couldn't. Country Joe's mike was off for a few songs, the video repeated 10 sec of the original Woodstock, it was disorganized, bands sounded terrible, vibe around was bad. This isn't working. We sat in the car waiting for others so we get out of the parking lot. the criketts in Griffth Park sounded better.

What a beautiful venue for some very nostalgic music. The Goldstar tickets were a real value and I highly recommend ordering the picnic basket dinners from the Greek. Lovely area to dine in.

Enjoyed it alot-- although it was sad thinking of all the people who weren't there-- Janis, Jimi, Jerry...Does anyone know if Grace Slick was in the audience?

It was an ok show in the sense that the other reviewers brought up - no intermission on a 3.5 hour show is a bit dragging; set up of transition between performers seemed disorganized; the big screen shots of Woodstock would have enhanced the show if adequately planned and queued.
The Greek Theatre's parking situation leaves much to be desired that is why I personally try to avoid this venue as much as I can. Stack parking is not a pleasant situation specially if the cars around you decide to "hang around" chit chatting with their group(s). Nothing wrong with that except that you can't get out of the lot even if you wanted to.

Probably the single best concert we have been to in FOREVER.....We both were actually at Woodstock and this brought it all back. The music was fantastic even though Grace and Janis were not there among a few others ,however close your eyes and the fill- ins sounded just like the originals. The Greek in itself is a perfect spot for a concert. Easy breezy to come in and leave.Great night was had by both.

Great music from "my time". The singers that replaced Janice Joplin and Grace Slick were excellent.
It was suprising that there were no "Programs".
I have to figure out how to do the Download of the entire show that is included with the tickets.
Thanks

Having attended the original Woodstock Festival, I had no expectation of this tribute becoming a mirror image of its past. That would simply be impossible because everything about it has been lifted to an iconic status, including the mud. I was however, pleasantly surprised when I saw the willingness of the crowd and could feel our life energies slowly rise as one; celebrating the music and that magical time of our empowered youth. Today, my bones ache a little more than usual, but that is the price you pay for the momentarily rekindling of old memories. What fun!

Great performers, but 3.5 hours without a break was a long stretch to be sitting.

I enjoyed the performances by Canned Heat and Ten Years After a lot, The vocal for Big Brother sounded good for a while, but I got tired of screaming voice soon. Overall, we had very good time.
Our seats were on the last row, so we could get up and dance. If we could bring the camera, I could have taken the pictures of the hills and the stage, not the performers. I was surprised to see some people came to the back and smoked joints. I could smell it often. Greek theater was very nice.

It was a very good concert. Not as good as the original and certainly lacked in the spirit of 1969. Not enough recognition was given to the Original concert such as memorabilia and clips on the large screens. It almost appeared that permission hadn't been given by the creators.

10 years after definately still has it goin on. The female lead singers for Janis Joplin style music and Jefferson Starship were awesome. energy great...lovely night. The clips of Woodstock on side screens were really poor, repetative and boring. It was not given much effort. It could have been such an enhancement to the performance. Otherwise, a great night and walk in the past.

I didn't expect the music to be authentic Woodstock, but I was pleasantly surprised by most of the performers, Cathy Richardson of Starship, in particular. Big Brother was a disappointment; Sophia Ramos screeched her way through songs with almost no connection to the whiskey-voiced Janis Joplin originals. Overall, the screen graphics were poorly done; they were repetitive and random, seldom connected to the action onstage. Overall, a fun, enjoyable evening.

I was very disappointed. The only good performances were Big Brother and 10 Years After. The others bands were out of whack!
