Giant RIP-OFF! They were so specific about the time you bought a ticket for, 10:00, 10:15, 10:30, etc. I had a ticket for 10:00 but they didn't start letting our group in until about 10:20, and it was S-L-O-W. Checking tickets, metal detectors, then creating name tags for each patron and standing around the lobby while the entire group got all of that done. Then we went into the main theatre and there was a video playing on the monitors on stage, but the speakers for the sound from those monitors was way up behind us in the balcony, so the sound was so muffled and out of sync with the monitors, we couldn't tell if this was supposed to be preparing us for the experience or what. Then our guide took our group to backstage, but started her little speech before all of us arrived, so again, no idea what information we were missing. Then there was about 5 minutes of really great, fun, exciting "experience." However, after that we were taken up an elevator to a big room with bar service and then NOTHING happened. I kept asking the "actors" and the security guys at the door what was next, but they only said we were free to continue upstairs and "explore on our own." So I did that on floors 3, 4, and 5, (some decorated rooms, but no actors nor action) which took about 5 minutes, then I returned to the bar. Finally, about 11:45, after an hour of nothing happening, I left. If the producers of this event had any conscience, they'd shut down this overpriced scam and refund the money to all of us suckers who were expecting and deserving something more than 5 minutes of entertainment.

This event really deserves zero stars. An awful experience that's disjointed, uninvolving and incomprehensible. Production values were amateurish. Shame on you Blumhouse. Last Blumhouse haunt I'll go to before I read some reviews.
What is The Purge: Fear the Night?
The Purge: Fear the Night is a guided experience that takes you into the massive headquarters of the New Founders of America, the sinister masterminds of The Purge — one night a year in which all crime is legal. Despite the celebratory appearance, no one is safe. Every step takes you deeper into the world of The Purge. Afterward, you can take refuge in our Founders' Lounge bar area, where alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
Is this a theatrical experience or a haunted house?
Blumhouse Productions has created an elaborate guided story for you to experience, one that is brought to life by actors, immersive sets, amazing effects, and scares throughout the New Founders' Headquarters. The Purge: Fear the Night combines a traditional "haunted" house with expansive sets and a full storyline.
I heard this was a free-roaming experience -- what happened?
While The Purge: Fear the Night was initially intended to be a free-roaming experience, we reconceived much of the experience after receiving valuable feedback and reviews from our opening audiences. As a result, we've created an experience that limits free roaming and guides audiences through the story and performances … enhancing the intensity, the scares and, we hope, the fun. Visitors will be immersed in the horror of The Purge, and guided through the scenes in a way that heightens the storyline and the overall experience. We look forward to hearing your thoughts.
