Pompous London linguist Henry Higgins believes he can turn even the lowest-speaking gutter-snipe into a well-bred lady, and dirt-poor flower seller Eliza Doolittle puts him to the test in Pygmalion. After selecting Eliza from the gutter to be his experiment, Higgins teaches her to speak like a proper lady, while Eliza, in turn, schools him on what it truly means to be a gentleman. This George Bernard Shaw comedy about class, identity and transformation inspired the hit musical My Fair Lady. This version of the classic play enjoys a 1960s, Mad Men-inspired setting. Learn More

This is a very small venue (which honestly made me a bit nervous at first), but the acting was great! Their interpretation of Taming was a bit bawdier than most but then again so is the Bard. For the price, I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rendition.
This production contains sexual humor and adult situations, and is recommended for mature audiences only.
