MY Husband Hated it and we left early ( very ) .. I LIKED IT... but I am a generation younger than him.Written on Nov 01 2010
We had fun - and looked at it as a Halloween " trick" in the SPOOKY wonderful Wiltern ( low lit) with an alternate universe of entertainment than what we are used to. BOO~

It helped that I am somewhat fond of the characters and their show so I laughed alittle more than others. My husband is a bigger fan but still we were both somewhat disappointed with their material so I can imagine how the average person would feel if they were not too familiar with them or the show. Not too funny. They're definitely better on tv. Maybe they could have used more props...? We left after an hour, during the 10 minute intermission. I'd suggest they try to bypass intermission since this seemed to give people more opportunity to leave. The Wiltern is a nice venue but I was foolish to think this would be an inexpensive night. Tickets were only $10 each but after service charges of $5.50 each, $15 for parking lot, $30 dinner for two at Dennys next door, $4 atm fee, and two drinks at Wiltern that came to $20, a $20 night turned into a $100 night. It didnt help either that the website said show started at 8pm but it didnt start until 9pm. Wish we would have known we could have taken that extra hour to enjoy a nice dinner and drinks somewhere else instead of waiting in line for 30 mins.then in our seats for 30 more mins. Tip: eat at home before you go, find a cheaper parking lot than Wilterns and walk a few blocks, come with cash for the "cash only" bar to avoid the atm fee or avoid drinking there altogether if you can handle that and save even more dough. Oh well, we still love the Trailer Park Boys and will continue to support them, but on cable tv!!Written on Nov 01 2010
