Undateable: Second City Players Act Out Real Responses to Fake Dating Profiles
The origins of Undateable lie in the hilariously bizarre results of an outrageous experiment. On a lark, playwright Robyn Norris created an online dating profile for the weirdest, least desirable person she could imagine. Within days, there were hundreds of earnest (albeit strange) messages to her wackadoo profile, "TracyLovesCats." So Norris immediately upped the ante, creating 38 more uniquely flawed profiles, ranging from MarryMeNowStat to Old4U75 to PioneerInABox. Now, the real-life responses these profiles attracted, collected over months of "research," are acted out live by members of the famed Second City company. Frank Caeti (MADtv) directs one of the funniest -- but also most honest and heartfelt -- portrayals of internet dating ever presented on stage.

Get there early because the starting times are real, and parking can cause delays. The first I tried lot wanted $20 so then I found a spot on the street, only to notice a sign that didn't allow Friday night parking, so I tried again at another lot and found a spot for $10. As I walked past the street parking, 2 cars were being towed.star this tip starred
The area is a little run down and unattractive. However, the gigantic shopping center at the corner of Hollywood and Highland is a wonderful oasis with many familiar restaurants from Hard Rock Cafe, to The Gill to Johnny Rockets... For more mundane palats there is a dreary humongous McDonalds just down the block. Youi can't miss it.star this tip starred
