Prior to purchasing the tickets, I only saw two words about the event: chocolate and wine. With that said, I thought it's a baking class with discussion on how to pair dessert with wine.
As it turned out (it said in the description of the event, I just didn't read it thoroughly), Chrysta, the baker/shop owner only talked about the steps and provided tips on baking a moist cake. I was disappointed that it wasn’t a hands-on class.
Otherwise, the evening was enjoyable, we sat in front of the kitchen counter and were feed mini bundt cakes, drank wine and walked away with a recipe print out and the wine list. It was also interesting to learn about the history behind Bundt cake.
