I had never seen Van 'Mumbles' Morrison and will not be attending any other concerts by him. This guy sounds like he has had a stroke. The band was pretty good. I liked the guitar playing. The fiddler and banjo were seriously out of tune.Written on Oct 06 2010
I see a lot of concerts in a year and even when I dislike a show hardly ever leave. After hearing an unintelligible version of 'Bright Side of the Road' we decided to leave. Neither my wife or I could understand a word coming out of the singer.
$300 for a top notch ticket and no alchol sales and general rudeness of the performer towards the audience = No Need to see Van Morrison.
My advice. Save your money for when Delbert McClinton comes around.

Seats were perfect! I had never been to a Van Morrison concert and will now cross this off my list of "must-sees". Love his music, but the man is NOT an engaging entertainer. He comes on (on time) starts the music and leaves. No encore, no dialog, no intros of the band. He told one joke, but said the punch line as he walked away from the microphone. The band was not "tight" by any stretch of the imagination. (Maybe VM didn't introduce them because he hired them this week from the union hall and didn't know their names??) The band warmed up just in time for Morrison to walk off stage. I'll continue to enjoy his music, but would not pay for another concert, even at Goldstar's great prices.Written on Oct 06 2010

Very disappointing. Lighting, sound and video were way off for a quality concert. The lighting of the stage, performers and and backdrop were not well thought. At times it was hard to see (being dark or lights in the eyes). The sound quality was average and not balanced. The camera work on the individual performers at times made no sense and did not have a level of satisfaction for the audience. Plus there were "guitars" out of tune. The show had no 'energy' until 100 minutes into the show :(Written on Oct 06 2010
Hey, but I got to see a legend again!
