As for the music is was great, as for some of the fat gang bangers in the crowd, it sucked. Throwing up gang signs, smoking dope and cigarettes in the seating area, and security did not want to get involve. As a law enforcement officer, I said something to security, all they said, was they will calm down, Well they never did. UNEXCEPTABLE, BAD GREEK SECURITY

Tower of power was great but I was disappointed that they did not play your still a young man, I was very Dissapointed with war it appeared to be a big jam session for the bands enjoyment only, I would have liked to hear the entire songs. it was not worth the money even at at the discounted rate that goldstar offers.

Quotes & Highlights

Description

War was the first and most successful musical crossover phenomenon that forever fused rock, jazz, Latin, and R&B, while transcending racial and cultural barriers with a multi-ethnic line-up; a musical melting pot and an enduring influence that has sold nearly 25 million records to date. War has been honored with 17 gold, platinum or multi-platinum awards which include the triple platinum The World Is A Ghetto, double platinum Why Can’t We Be Friends? and Greatest Hits, just to name a few.  Today, War is a permanent part of America’s pop cultural landscape.

For over 40 years, Tower of Power has been creating their own kind of soul music. Since 1968, Tower of Power has delivered their unique brand of music to their fans, appearing before sold out crowds as they tour the world each year. Tower’s sound can be hard to categorize, but the band's leader and founding member, Emilio Castillo, has labeled their sound as "Urban Soul Music."  With hits such as “So Very Hard to Go,” “What is Hip” and “You’re Still a Young Man,” Tower's rhythm section lays down a groove like no other band. The band’s horn driven sound is unique, and the way they approach everything, from writing and arranging to mixing and performing, is totally their own.
