It was obvious that a lot of effort was put into this performance. However, while I can certainly empathize with the plight of the character (who may in fact have been the person who wrote and performed this piece), it was like listening to a dramatic read of the pages of her diary -- if she needed to get this off her chest, writing it should have been sufficient. For me there was no value to hear about someone reiterate going through the stages of grief. Not my cup of tea and not a play I'd recommend. Certainly no entertainment value. A beautiful piece about love and loss... filled with humor throughout, as Wendy, the wife, comes to terms with the passing of her husband Evan. Ms. Merson transports the viewer from Big Sur to Paris to her own home as she deals with the heartache and reaches an understanding of her own meaning and existence. Highly recommended.Written on Oct 18 2011
