Gorgeous venue. Very clean, beautiful, very well kept. It is an outdoor venue, yet has a great ambiance and intimate feel. The event is surrounded in forest trees, moonlight and stars. Regardless of where you sit at "The Greek Theatre", there is not a bad seat anywhere. My tickets through Gold Star where Terrace and row S. My seats were fabulous. Great sound, great lighting. A lot of restrooms inside the venue, that they keep continuously clean during the event.Written on Sep 25 2010
I initially attended this event for the opening band, "Ryan Bingham and The Dead Horses", they are so amazing. I have fallen for this band HARD and immediately from listening to them for the first time and yes, I have to admit I am a follower. They have great sounds. That is truly unique and I just cannot get enough of their tunes.
It was truly a pleasure to see the Great and The Classic Mr. Willie Nelson.
The overall experience was excellent. Concert goers and event staff were great. The evening ran smoothly. Parking at this event is $15 for stacked parking, but I didn't mind it; just go with patience and it really isn't a problem like that of the Hollywood Bowl's stacked parking.
Gold Star has been incredible and I highly recommend their services. Gold Star is my FIRST go-to for ALL of my entertainment needs.

Very enjoyable. Ryan B. and the Dead Horses was an extra treat. Willie is still going strong at 77 and his sons play in the band with him.Written on Sep 27 2010

I'm very happy with my compulsive decision to see Willie and friends! In a day where most popular music acts use autotune and spectacles over talent, it was refreshing to see and hear good, natural music. The musicians were fantastic. My only complaint is that I couldn't see enough of the woman behind the piano. She was rockin'! I was also very impressed by Willie's son on guitar, who was like a combo of Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce.Written on Sep 28 2010
As for parking, well, it was disastrous and disorganized. It was bumper-to-bumper style where you had to stand around and wait for the people around you to leave. Haven't they heard of parking lots? Or at least organizing in such a way? There were no signs indicating which streets were at which exits, etc. Oh, and thankfully my boyfriend had a $20 on him for the $15 parking fee.
So overall 5 stars, 2 or 3 for the parking situation :-P
