Very enjoyable, would definitely attend again. There were wonderful people on this tour. The Zuri wine staf, Tuanni and Eboni, were awesome. They made you feel welcome from the initial contact.Written on Feb 28 2011
It is a good exposure to wine tasting. Rideau was nice, the owner met with us and gave us a personal tour.
It would be nice to have been able to keep the glass as a souvenier. It would also have been nice to be able to choose your choice of tastings as opposed to a set tasting menu.
Lunch was tasty but would be more fair, if when the papers are handed out they are numbered so if you are one who arrived early, your 1st choice would be given.
Would love to have had the music on all the way up and back, for some reason we started out with music, it was turned off and never turned on again.
There were some glitches as with anything but for the most part, a wonderful wonderful day.
So happy to have been able to be on a busload of friendly, positive energetic people. Good Job!

We had a great time and so much fun. The Tour of the vineyard and tasting was fantastic. Iris Rideau was a very gracious host as well. The lunch was very tasty and a great addition to the wine tasting. I am glad we were able to explore downtown Solvang and the choice of another tasting. My bus mates were fantastic as well as the Zuri staff. Very personable and fun experience. I will definitely do it again.Written on Apr 17 2012

We met Iris, the owner of Rideau Vineyards, who
is so passionate about her wine and wine making.
The lunch was delicious.
We went to the Olive House, in Solvang, where we tasted the Moscato wine. The owner and his wife were so friendly and so hospitable. It was so much fun. The olives are fantastic!!
I would recommend everyone to go.
It was well worth it.

What an awesome day !!!!! Soooo glad it rained the day before and what a lovely trip up the coast. I had lots of fun and met some very cool people as well; and everything was just wonderful, from the moment we stepped on the bus, there was laughter and fun conversation, a tasty lunch and of course lots and lots of good wine :) Zuri Wine rocks and the staff was extremely friendly and professional and I can't wait for the next trip :)Written on Feb 28 2011

Description
Visit and tour Rideau Vineyard in Solvang for the most incredible wine-tasting experience. Rideau Vineyard is the only black and female-owned winery in California.
The tour price includes: roundtrip bus transportation, complimentary wine tasting at Rideau, tour of nearby Bridlewood, box lunch and self-guided tour of Solvang. VIP admission includes a guided tour of Solvang and tasting fees at both wineries, as well as a souvenir of the trip.
Itinerary:
8:00am Depart L.A.
11:00am Arrive in Solvang
11:00am-2:00pm Tour and tasting at Rideau (wine & lunch included in price)
2:15pm-3:15pm Tasting & Tour at Bridlewood ($10 tasting fee, optional paid day of trip)
3:30pm-4:30pm Tour of downtown Solvang before heading home
7:00pm Bus arrives back in L.A.
