It was a lot of fun. I had a feeling that this will just get bigger and bigger. I like seeing these kids in costumes but then I feel bad on my way back to my car several cars got a parking ticket. I saw these young kids getting off their car before the concert. I feel bad.

Venue was cool, bands were good. Should have had food available.

My friend and I were very excited for the Wizard Rock Festival since it had been billed as having an indie rock aesthetic, and we had grown up with books. We couldn't find parking so did the $10 valet and were immediately surprised at how young the crowd was. The spirit inside the event was fun, complete with "custom" Hogwarts cocktails and a beat-boxing Harry. But ultimately the bands (or were they bands? usually there was only one person was on stage at a time, and often the music was pre-recorded) fell a bit flat, and the music wasn't universal enough to sustain our interest. we stayed long enough to see the headliner start their first song, but left before the first refrain was finished.

All in all, we're glad we went and explored a previously unknown niche on Harry Potter fan-dom, but we won't be going back. Unless we make our own Wizard Rock band with our own aesthetic ;-)

A lot of fun! Took my kids and they had a great time, even though there were mostly adults there. Nice crowd. Would go again!
