Featuring knockout dancing, a ripped-from-the-headlines story about scandal and fame and one show-stopping song after another, Chicago has become the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. Based on true crime stories of the 1920s, this provocative production chronicles the exploits of convicted murderesses Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, who compete for the attention of the press and celebrity attorney Billy Flynn as they prepare for their sensational murder trials. A multiple Tony, Grammy and Oscar winner, this stinging satire on corruption, crime and celebrity features Bob Fosse's famous choreography and songwriting duo Kander and Ebb's memorable music, including the slinky opener "All That Jazz."
