The performances were lovely. The staging was sparse. The costuming was good. The orchestra was okay, but the music sounded thin at times. Durgin's Hall at UMass Lowell was uncomfortably warm in the balcony. Should have been warned to BYOF (bring your own fan). The safety bars also blocked views when the performers moved upstage. Next time I will be sure to sit in the orchestra. Regardless, I am inclined to attend more performances by the Greater Lowell MusicTheatre (GLMT) group.
Running time: Approximately 3 hours, including a 15 minute intermission.
This show is recommended for audiences ages 13 or older.
