Experience the best of old-world sailing combined with 21st-century amenities aboard the 105-foot schooner America 2.0, part of Classic Harbor Line's fleet of elegant sailing vessels. Added to the fleet in 2011, America 2.0 is modeled on ships of the late 19th century, but she features all the technology, style and comfort of modern sailing. During your two-hour voyage, you'll cruise from Chelsea Piers down the Hudson River to Battery Park, then across the harbor to Ellis Island, taking in views of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and the lower Manhattan skyline. Enjoy a round or two of included beverages, with your choice of beer, soda and water. Wine and champagne are available for purchase on board as well. You'll head back to port relaxed and with a new appreciation for New York's nautical history and spectacular scenery. Learn More
They say that you can pack a lunch, but no one on our trip brought on food. There is a small coffee shop at the Pier. We walked over along 23rd street and stopped at Chelsea Square Restaurant (23rd & 9th) on our way. There are a lot of eateries along the way.Day Sail Aboard Schooner America 2.0 dining • Jul 23 2014 star this tip starred
