They say that you can pack a lunch, but no one on our trip brought on food. There is a small coffee shop at the Pier. We walked over along 23rd street and stopped at Chelsea Square Restaurant (23rd & 9th) on our way. There are a lot of eateries along the way.

Quotes & Highlights

Learn more about the schooner America 2.0.

Description

You’ll experience the following on your two-hour sail:

Heading south from Chelsea Piers and down the Hudson River to Battery Park, the schooner will pass by Ellis Island and sail out to the Statue of Liberty.

Wind and time permitting, she will head toward Governors Island, breeze by the Financial District and tease her bow under the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River.

Complimentary beer, wine, champagne, soda, O.J., hot coffee, and water will be provided, as well as Bloody Marys and Mimosas.

_Please note:

A few rounds will be served, but this is not an unlimited booze cruise. Classic Harbor Line aims to create an elegant, relaxing, peaceful and safe experience for all of their guests._

It tends to be cool out on the water, so light jackets are recommended.

About the Ticket Supplier: Classic Harbor Line LLC

Built in 1994 in the Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, the Schooner Adirondack is an 80-foot wooden replica of a classic turn-of-the-century pilot schooner.

The 1920s-style motor yacht "Manhattan," also built by Scarano Boat Building, is brand new to the New York City harbor as of spring 2006. This 80-foot, wood-trimmed, Gilded Era commuter yacht runs full circumnavigations of Manhattan, dinner cruises and sunset cruises, and is available for private charter.
