There were so many mixed reviews about this brunch cruise that I almost didn't book it. But since I had a friend in from Chicago, and it was in the negative temps there, I thought this would be a great way to convince him that living in California was better than anything Chicago could offer. We had a sensational time. He's coming back in 2 weeks......

The food was good but the day was so hot that we couldn't stay up on the top (open) deck very long. We went back to our dining deck beneath, but it was still very warm. We would have been satisfied with a 1.5 hour cruise - 2 hours was just a bit too long considering the heat. The staff was very friendly, service was great. Gratuities are not included in the ticket price, so be prepared to pay a 15% tip on the full retail (not discounted) price of the ticket; also, you receive a 2-hour validation on parking, but it's not quite enough to pay the parking fee, so bring some cash with you.
