Members Who Went Said:Really fun show
Anonymous Member Fast moving, up beat. Words to songs hard to understand as music tended to overtake the singing. Not in all songs, but a lot of them. Content could offend some, a lot of swearing and use of the F word. Also, a lot of good lines that made you laugh. Acting was very good!
Erika Johnson Good time in Martinez?? Great venue. It was a fun event to bring your friends that aren't into musicals. Despite some audio issues it was a great production. The music certainly isn't Sondheim, but I had a great time as did my friends. |

More Details About This Event: What can go wrong when five college students break into an abandoned cabin in the woods? Apparently, a whole heck of a lot! They unleash evil spirits, turn into Candarian Demons…and sing show tunes! In Evil Dead: The Musical, Sam Raimi’s classic 80’s horror films are brought to … er … life. As musical mayhem descends on this sleepover in the woods, “camp” takes on a whole new meaning with uproarious numbers like “All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons,” “What the F*** Was That?” and “Do the Necronomicon.” To view scenes from earlier productions of Evil Dead: The Musical, check out YouTube or www.willowstheatre.com/evildead.htm. |
