1st Stage performs Almost, Maine, John Cariani's quirky romantic comedy set in the remote, mythical village of Almost, Maine. For anyone who needs a little help getting into the spirit of Valentine's Day, this play is just what the (love) doctor ordered. As the Northern Lights dance in the sky above this small snowy town, the residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. For anyone who's ever loved, lost or had a crush, these nine tales are a breath of whimsical warmth for winter hearts.

Flora the Red Menace: Kander and Ebb's First Musical

Full Price:
$30.00
Our Price:
$15.00

Before Chicago, before Cabaret, there was Flora the Red Menace, the first collaboration between the legendary team of John Kander and Fred Ebb. Although not as well known as Kander and Ebb's other works, it still has the trademark spirit and wit of all their shows. Flora the Red Menace tells the story of a headstrong young woman in Depression-era New York whose world is thrown into disarray when she falls in love with a member of the Communist Party. It will be the sixth and final production of 1st Stage's fourth season. Learn More

Great show that held my attention throughout. Two teens went with us and loved it. Would like to see more from this writer. Well done actors!

My friend and I loved this performance. It is done in a very imaginative away, different unconnected events happening in different points of time and even though the same actors played several characters, each presentation was unique and full of humor. This performance makes you laugh almost all the time and you just cant help but love the characters and the actors.
