Grand Dérangement: Concert Band Fuses Acadian, Celtic, Rock & Folk Music
"Grand Dérangement" is French for the "Great Expulsion" : Not a bad name for a band that makes audiences routinely jump out of their seats. This young, hip band from Nova Scotia, Canada's Acadian heartland, brings their intoxicating music down south for a concert at The Alden. While drawing inspiration from Acadian ballads, folk music and Celtic harmonies, Grand Dérangement is an explosive modern ensemble, its playing loud and electric and accompanied by amazing step-dancing. As soon as bow is put to fiddle, the stage ignites into a blaze of dance and song that's impossible to extinguish.

parking was in a lot by the front door, the entrance After the library and park. We went into the library entrance and parked on the curb in back of the theater. The back doors were open, but there was only space for about 9 cars. I recommend the parking lot, also accessible if you continue on your right, past the library and the park.star this tip starred
