Shakespeare saved his best for last: his final play, The Tempest, is his most magical and engrossing tale. It follows the adventures of Prospero, an exiled duke who lives as the master of an enchanted isle abounding with fantastical creatures, mystery, music and romance. When a shipwreck delivers Prospero's enemies to the island, the plot thickens as his beloved daughter falls for one of the castaways. Bring a lawn chair and a picnic basket and enjoy this outdoor production from the Olney Theatre Center at the Root Family Stage. In celebration of the 65th anniversary of the National Players -- OTC's touring company of young professional actors -- celebrated National Player "veterans" will compose half the cast while current company members will take the younger roles. parking was in a lot by the front door, the entrance After the library and park. We went into the library entrance and parked on the curb in back of the theater. The back doors were open, but there was only space for about 9 cars. I recommend the parking lot, also accessible if you continue on your right, past the library and the park.Catskill Puppet Theater's The Lion's Whiskers travel • Apr 29 2014 star this tip starred

Felt like I was watching an amateur troup. All gimmick, not much substance. Big to do about having us wait until just before the performance to enter theatre so that we would all get cute name tags. Thought this would be part of show but it wasn't - just a gimmick.
This show is recommended for those age 13 or older.
