S. Bin I went with a group of friends. Most of us have experience swing dancing so we were excited to re-learn the moves and dance with the band. The class taught us a few footwork techniques and then the band started up. Unfortunately, the swing music the band was playing was not what I expected (40's, jazzy, slow swing music) and we wanted the more upbeat stuff so we could do our fun moves. Because the music was not what we expected, we left early. I'm sure it was great for everyone else, but we just wanted a different type of swing music. |

More Details About This Event: Hosting Boston's finest swing dances since 1994, Swing City is back! Meet cool people in a great ambience as you dance all night to the swinging sounds of a live band. There will be a free dance lesson so you can learn a few new moves before you hit the floor.
Dance lesson: 7:30pm Dancing: 8:45pm-1:00am All ages are welcome. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
