Reeling Over Love is a fun and revealing exploration of the differences between celluloid love and love in real life. Although sometimes we try to reconcile the two, it certainly isn't always successful. Say Anything is a great high-school movie, but have you ever really saved a relationship by holding a boombox outside a beau's window? Eclectic Edge Ensemble's show is brought to life by nostalgic tunes, a score written by local composer Josh Kramer and new intimate sections written and performed live by local composer Brian Erickson.

This is a delightful and charming performance which contrasts love as depicted in movies with love in the real world. The dances are engaging and everyone can relate to them.Written on Feb 17 2012
