In this horrifying hit comedy by local playwright Allison Moore, Sheena thinks she's gotten her big break when she's cast as the "last girl" (last girl to be killed, that is) in a low-budget slasher flick. Unfortunately, news of the movie unleashes her malingering mother's thwarted feminist rage, and mom is prepared to do anything to stop the filming ... even if it kills her. Funny and thrilling, with all the blood and gore horror movie fans could want, Slasher will have audiences laughing until they scream. Moore won a 2010 Ivey Award for her original play My Antonia.

What a delightful evening of theater! The acting is superb and the direction was skillful. This parody of B-movies hits the mark perfectly.

The actors did a terrific job and the story was very unique. Loved the horror film setting and how the traditional storyline got turned on its head!

The play was hilarious (just as most slasher films are!). The three lead actors were excellent--either professionals, or on their way. Director did a great job with lighting and music, bringing the feel of a slasher film to the stage.
