Acclaimed playwright and screenwriter Jeffrey Hatcher -- writer of Casanova with Heath Ledger and The Duchess with Keira Knightley -- now presents Hamlet with ... Jeffrey Hatcher. That's right, Hatcher himself takes the stage to tell the tale of this particularly tragic Dane in Jeffrey Hatcher's Hamlet, a solo show at the Illusion Theater. Back when he was 10 years old, Hatcher adapted, directed and performed a production of Hamlet starring his fifth-grade classmates. The first show sold out, as did the second and a career was born in humble Steubenville, Ohio. Now, decades later, the successful writer ruminates on his early start on the stage. Incorporating memories of his Ohio Valley childhood, this clever and deeply-felt show celebrates theater as home, refuge and platform. Learn More
