We saw the final preview but had to leave in the middle of the second act. What we saw was a mix of the truly hilarious (the opening "I'm pissed" sketch) to sophomoric ( BNN News sketch), with the average closer to the former than the latter. Certainly worth the Goldstar price of admission (comp!) and our time. I'm sorry we had to leave.
Directed by Caleb and Katy McEwen
Musical Direction by Peter Guertin
Technical Direction by Matthew Vichlach
Cast Members: Lauren Anderson, Matt Erkel, Bobby Gardner, Tom Reed, Taj Ruler
About the Ticket Supplier: Brave New Workshop
Founded by former circus performer Dudley Riggs and currently owned by husband and wife John Sweeney and Jenni Lilledahl, the little theatre on Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis has become a legendary comedy institution, where audiences enjoy improv and sketch comedy nearly every night of the week. The company’s talented performers create satirical, irreverent, and intelligent original works.
