Jazz MN is a great big-band style jazz orchestra. The performing arts center is convenient and comfortable. The Caswell Sisters were an interesting part of the program. I don't ordinarily think violin with big band jazz - but it worked.

An outstanding musical concert with true professionalism. Every musical
note from the Jazz MN Orchestra had accurate artistry by every instrumentalist and the improvised were all outstanding. BRAVO !

The Caswell Sisters, with songstress Rachel, was equal to Miss Ella
Fitzgerald with her 'Scat Style" singing. Sister Sara, was marvelous
with her creativity of jazz improv producing sounds that were surreal.
Combine the two sisters with such talent then close your eyes for a
trip to outer space.

The music was great - we both enjoyed the music, and the guest artists were very talented. I would love it if someone would tell the singing sister to get her roots done and wear a more flattering dress. She had a great voice, but sitting in the balcony, I could see her hair - not the greatest style or coloring job - and way more of her chest than I needed to see. this is not jazz criticism. but she/they would make their performance more entertaining if the older sister would make her personel presentation better.
