The multi-talented, Tony-nominated Jonelle Allen, star of stage (Finian's Rainbow and Two Gentlemen of Verona on Broadway) and screen (Grace on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman), dons yet another hat -- this one large and sequined -- when she stars in Hello, Dolly! at Saddleback College. Allen brings new life to the iconic role of the vivaciously meddlesome Dolly Gallagher Levi, a mischievous matchmaker in turn-of-the-(last)-century New York City. Dolly's been hired to arrange a marriage for the widowed half-millionaire Horace Vandergelder. However, she has secret plans of her own. With a cast of delightful characters, beautiful costumes and a fabulous chorus, Hello, Dolly! overflows with joyful tunes, including the title song, "Put on Your Sunday Clothes," and "It Only Takes a Moment." Myrona DeLaney directs with choreography by Roger Castellano and musical direction by Lex Leigh. Learn More

The show was great! The Platters were better than The Coasters but both were good and replicated the songs beautifully. There isn't a bad seat in McKinney theater. It's a wonderful venue for this type of event. We'll be taking advantage of this facility again.
The Professional Guest Artist Series at** **Saddleback College is thrilled to stroll back in time to the 1950’s when songs held meaning, music had rhythm and the singers produced the greatest harmony on earth. The Amazing Platters and World Famous Coasters Revue will entertain audiences of all ages on Saturday, November 21st at 8pm in the McKinney Theatre. The Amazing Platters were originally known as the Ms. Zola Taylor’s Platters Group. Ms. Zola Taylor was the original female vocalist with the original Platters. Adrian Pepo was Zola’s lead singer for over 23 years and Eddie Daniels her bass singer for 12 years. Zola passed away three years ago but this dedicated Platters group continues to relive the dawn of the rock and roll era through this magical music. The Platters sing oldie greats including Only You, The Great Pretender, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Magic Touch and more. The World Famous Coaster’s Revue presents a musical extravaganza performed by four fun loving “groovy” veteran entertainers including Bobby Baker, J.D. Hall, E. Jhamal Hamilton and Grayling Taylor. All time hits and favorites will include __Charlie Brown, Poison Ivy, Little Egypt, Yakkaty Yak __and Love Potion #9, among others.
