The classes I took in Afro-Haitian dance and tap dance were excellent. The instructors were knowledgable and taught in a clear, step by step manner.

Workshop Schedule (instructors subject to change):
10:00am: Classical Chinese Dance, Ann Woo
11:00am: Modern/Contemporary Dance, Leslie Friedman
12:00pm: Lunch Break
1:00pm: Pilates Mat, Amity Johnson
2:00pm: Polish Folk Dance, Christina Smolen
3:00pm: Tap Dance, Audreyanne Covarrubias
4:00pm: Line Dances, Etta Walton
5:00pm: Salsa, Leanne Rinelli

These are all mixed-level classes. You can be beginner or pro. But you must be age 15 or older to attend.

No partners necessary for salsa or line dances.

Bring a mat or big towel for Pilates mat class.

Attire: You should wear something comfortable to move around in.

Shoes:
• Jazz slippers are ideal. (Socks or ballet slippers might be too slippery. Sneakers tend to stick.)
• Barefoot is OK.
• For tap class, tap shoes are recommended, or something with a sole, “character shoes” or the jazz slippers.
• For line dancing, any shoe that will stay on. Street shoe flats are not recommended.
