Description
Soul In Motion Players, Inc. is a non-profit performing arts organization founded in 1984 by percussionist Michael Friend. They are committed to sharing the richness of African-American culture through African dance and drum.
The cultural excursion to Dakar, Senegal will take place March 26 - April 9, 2011 and promises to be filled with African Drumming workshops, African Dance workshops, and tours of the many historical locations including Goree Island, known as the location of the House of Slaves.
