Written on Jul 02 2012I really really wanted to see Ozomatli and Eve 6, but Ozomatli wasn't able to go. I enjoyed it, the drinks were free, the music was good.

Written on Jul 02 2012Overall I had a good time. This feeling comes with limitations. Which mimic the limitations of the Festival itself. The location was beautiful with the view of Potomac river. There was a good amount of people there, some activities to enjoy the day, food and drinks around, and cool music.
What surprised me was how small the venue is, compared to some other festivals I've been to. This is the main reason why there were limited activities/food&drinks/places to relax/people. I did like the dj tent separated from the artist stage so you get choices on music. I would request to change the way drinks are brought, the ticket process is a little annoying, especially the one rule that you have to get water two at a time (the ticket equals two waters, you cannot just get one).
As said before overall good time, just wished for more.

Written on Jul 02 2012Ozomatli did not make it to the show. Very few choices in food vendors. Drunk college kids atmosphere.
