This is a beautiful boat kept totally ship-shape. The cruise around Manhattan is fascinating even though I was born in Brooklyn and have lived in Manhattan all of my adult life. The crew couldn't be more courteous. And the food was more than I expected. Enjoy it.Written on Oct 20 2008

I can't wait to go on another cruise with this crew! the boat was in amazing condition. it was very intimate, the crew was very friendly and informative...soft music...light fare and candlelight! the pics and description dont do it justice AT ALL. My mom was in from out of town and it was a great way to show off the city to her. VERY RELAXING.Written on Dec 02 2008

We had such a wonderful time! Like the other reviewers I was thrilled to sail all the way around Manhattan, you get to see so many interesting sights. The food was delicious, including some of the best lox I've ever had. The ship is pristine, and the indoor seating area is very comfortable. The crew is great -- this is a first class operation! We would definitely do this again.Written on Nov 08 2008

Though initially the water was not hot enough for tea, the fare was varied and adequate.

About the Ticket Supplier: Classic Harbor Line LLC
Built in 1994 in the Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, the Schooner Adirondack is an 80-foot wooden replica of a classic turn-of-the-century pilot schooner.
Heading south from Chelsea Piers and down the Hudson River to Battery Park, the Schooner Adirondack passes by Ellis Island and sails out to the Statue of Liberty. Wind and time permitting, she will head toward Governor's Island, breeze by the Financial District and the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River.
The 1920s-style motor yacht "Manhattan," also built by Scarano Boat Building, is brand new to the New York City harbor as of spring 2006. This 80-foot, wood-trimmed, Gilded Era commuter yacht runs full circumnavigations of Manhattan, dinner cruises and sunset cruises, and is available for private charter.
