The boat had at least 40 people and was quite full...a few less people would have been better, but there was lots of food and the service was excellent and the day was perfect. Just a few too many people. Everyone was more than happy.Written on Jul 13 2009

This cruise was absolutely amazing! The crew was great, the boat had just the right number of people on it (not crowded at all, very enjoyable).Written on Jul 20 2009
The food was delicious.
I highly recommend this cruise.

Our experience was probably not typical, so keep that in mind...we took the miaden voyage of this particular trip, and on a boat meant for 40-50 there were only 5 of us! Thus we had a one-to-one staff to customer ratio and got to feel like rich yacht owners for a few hours. The food (ingredients for hearty sandwhiches, hummus, potato salad and cole slaw with cookies and brownies for dessert) was very good and unsurprisingly plentiful. The boat is very nice - very low to the water, large windows, and a smallish deck. Not sure what the experience would be like if the boat was crowded, but probably still fun.Written on Jun 17 2009

This was a nice afternoon cruise. The crew provided excellent service, but not overbearing. I thought the food was skimpy, and came off the boat hungry. There are no "seconds" so grab two wraps the first time. An OK price with the Goldstar discount, but would not pay full price.Written on Sep 08 2009

About the Ticket Supplier: Classic Harbor Line LLC
Built in 1994 in the Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, the Schooner Adirondack is an 80-foot wooden replica of a classic turn-of-the-century pilot schooner.
Heading south from Chelsea Piers and down the Hudson River to Battery Park, the Schooner Adirondack passes by Ellis Island and sails out to the Statue of Liberty. Wind and time permitting, she will head toward Governor's Island, breeze by the Financial District and the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River.
The 1920s-style motor yacht "Manhattan," also built by Scarano Boat Building, is brand new to the New York City harbor as of spring 2006. This 80-foot, wood-trimmed, Gilded Era commuter yacht runs full circumnavigations of Manhattan, dinner cruises and sunset cruises, and is available for private charter.
