Very fun cruise around lower Manhattan in an intimate setting -- the Yacht Manhattan seats about 24 and is a comfortable trip. Our guest brewer, from Kelso Brewing in Brooklyn, offered a variety of well-made beers, accompanied by knowledgeable commentary. And the tapas-style appetizers were nice pairings. It was a great night on the water. The friend who joined me had a splendid time and enjoyed a relaxing evening. I hope to do this cruise or another from Classic Harbor Lines again in the future.Written on Nov 19 2011

As you head out into the crisp, fall New York harbor, sit back and relax in the comfy, cozy & chic glassed-in observatory, while your host introduces you to 5 different brews from their specialty craft brewery.
Learn about how their special flavors are created and what foods pair appropriately with each. All brews will be paired with specially-designed hors d' oeuvres prepared by our on-board gourmet-trained chef. This cruise is sure to arouse your taste buds and to get you into the fall holiday spirit!
On this 2 hour Autumnal Beer Pairing Cruise, you will take in picturesque views from the, heated and enclosed back-deck observatory of this 1920s-style motor yacht.

November 11th - Hosted by Kelly Taylor of Kelso of Brooklyn. Kelso creates craft beers using sustainable practices to impact the environment in a positive enriching manner. From fresh easy drinking Pilsner to Sour Cherry Lambic their beers are interesting and unique. They recently have partnered with Stone Barns at Blue Hill to create seasonal beers using the freshest of quality ingredients. A special small plate pairing will be created to complement each beer.
November 17 — Varying local brewmasters, makers and aficionados are your hosts on this fall-themed beer and tapas pairing adventure. As you head out into the crisp fall New York Harbor, sit back and and relax in the comfy, cozy and chic glassed-in observatory, while your host introduces you to 5 different brews from their specialty craft local brewery. Fire Island Brewery, Southampton Ales, Coney Island Craft Brews and Kelso of Brooklyn are some of the planned hosts.
November 18th - Matt Polacheck, Coney Island Craft Brews, Smaltz Brewing Company Smaltz brewing company has been brewing craft beers in Brooklyn for 12 years. Their line of Coney Island beers are artistic delights both one the palate and to the eye. From Albino Python with flavors of ginger and fennel to their special Jewbelation12 wirth 12 hops/12 maltz, 12 years, 12 % alcohol this will be a special evening for all beer enthusiasts. A special small plate pairing will be created to complement each beer.

Built in 1994 in the Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, the Schooner Adirondack is an 80-foot wooden replica of a classic turn-of-the-century pilot schooner.
Heading south from Chelsea Piers and down the Hudson River to Battery Park, the Schooner Adirondack passes by Ellis Island and sails out to the Statue of Liberty. Wind and time permitting, she will head toward Governor's Island, breeze by the Financial District and the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River.
The 1920s-style motor yacht "Manhattan," also built by Scarano Boat Building, is brand new to the New York City harbor as of spring 2006. This 80-foot, wood-trimmed, Gilded Era commuter yacht runs full circumnavigations of Manhattan, dinner cruises and sunset cruises, and is available for private charter.
