The show was great, definitely worthwhile. But be prepared for what kind of show it is. There were a lot of people in the audience (and its a small 30 person theatre) who were not familiar with the surreal biting sarcasm of Christopher Durang's comedy...I suggest that anyone interested in seeing this play at least get a sense of what they are going to before getting tickets. However, if you are into Durang, which I am, it was a great independent production. Both productions I've seen at manhattan theatre source have been excellent--I stand by anything that is done there.Written on Nov 09 2007

Not a very good production at all. I have seen better High School shows. I still give it 2 stars however because of the plays difficulty. This type of comedy is very difficult to pull off because it is so absurd, and even some of the best actors have a hard time doing justice. When the comedy doesnt work it just makes the audience feel uncomfortable, and not know how to react. I will say that the stage design was quite impressive though, and eah actor had moments of brilliance.Written on Nov 16 2007

Fantastic production. Durang isn't easy to do well, and I was very impressed. Plus, we sat in the front row right next to a famous character actor! A great night out.Written on Nov 16 2007
