My family LOVED the Big Apple Circus this year, as we do every year. My husband and I enjoy it as much, if not more, than our children do!Written on Nov 17 2009

This is a great circus year after year and should be in everyone's "must do" with their children as a family tradition. The acts are top-notch and I must say I thought this year was even better than last year's event since Bello was back! It's great for small children as it's not overwhelming in size and it's not too long so it keeps a small child's attention the entire time. I love the way they have it in an actual tent on the grounds at Lincoln Center - it really adds to the effect of having a real circus. Great family time at a very reasonable price.Written on Nov 09 2009

This was our first big top circus and it far surpassed our expectations. It was such an intimate setting that you felt like you were part of the show. The staff was extremely friendly and the performers were top notch. My daughter got a kick of meeting "Grandma" before the performance and having our picture taken with her. Bello was so close, you could practically reach out and touch him. As we were leaving he blew my daughter a kiss from the band as he and the band members were playing a Michael Jackson medley as we all filed out.Written on Nov 02 2009
This will be the circus that we see each year. I'm so glad that Bello is back as he's the main reason why we decided on the Big Apple Circus.

Description
It seems like only yesterday that this daredevil clown made his hair-raising New York debut with the Big Apple Circus. He’s been a big star all over the world ever since and was recently named "America's Best Clown" by Time Magazine.
Bello is joined by a world of stellar circus stars including Spain’s juggling artiste, Picasso Jr. and Russia’s Aniskin Troupe who catapult to the top of the tent on trampoline and soar across it on trapeze. And for an extra measure of love and laughter, there’s our very own clown — Grandma. So pick your group’s dates and do like Bello—come on back! The Big Apple Circus is your circus, Big Apple is back in town!
About the Ticket Supplier: Big Apple Circus
As a leading presenter of family entertainment and a not-for-profit performing arts institution, our nationwide performances and community programs have made our 26-year history far-reaching and full.
It all began in Kent, England, in 1974, when American entertainers and Big Apple Circus co-founders Paul Binder and Michael Christensen became juggling partners and took to the street corners of Europe. Their comedic juggling act was a hit, and they soon found themselves on the stage of the presitigous Nouveau Cirque de Paris. They returned home to America in 1976 with a vision: to entertain and improve the lives of millions. One year later, they found a site for the first tent-raising in Battery Park, New York, and went on to create the award-winning, not-for-profit Big Apple Circus.
