Martin Vidnovic is currently playing Bellomy in the revival of The Fantasticks at The Snapple Theatre Center. Prior to that, he toured nationally as The King in The King and I with Sandy Duncan, and then went on to appear in the world premiere of Tony Kushner's play But the Giraffe, which accompanied his translation of the opera Brundibar at The New Victory Theatre.
Martin's Broadway credits include a Tony nomination as Tommy in Brigadoon, an L.A. Drama Critics Award for Jud in Oklahoma! during its pre-Broadway tour, a Drama Desk Award as Nick in Maltby and Shire's Baby, a Backstage Bistro award for A Grand Night for Singing for its run at the Rainbow And Stars cabaret. He played Antinuous in Home Sweet Homer and Lun Tha in The King and I, both starring Yul Brynner; Sky Masterson in Jerry Zaks' award-winning revival of Guys & Dolls; Saul in Disney's King David; and Jupiter/Amphitrion in Olympus on My Mind.
Martin can be heard as the voice of The King in the animated feature film of The King and I, now in CD and video release.
