The best tassel-swingers in the country are invited to battle it out for a shot at the coveted title of Burlesque Idol. Already a hit in the UK and Australia, this new live competition show comes to New York, ready to provide an exciting, elegant evening of adult entertainment. A comedian host introduces the three-judge panel, who range from famous burlesque queens to promoters and producers. Then the contestants strut their stuff, each putting their own spin on the art of striptease, with gimmicks ranging from fire-breathing to ballet and beyond. Every admission comes with a ballot so you can vote for your favorite, and every show kicks off with a burlesque lesson -- just in case you want to come back and compete. Learn More

Quotes & Highlights
“A clever turn on an old tradition…. Think Gypsy Rose Lee in sophistication, together with a little bawdy, a lot of talent and an evening from which you’ll walk away smiling.” -Broadway After Dark
“A sort of PG-13 burlesque. It brings a bit of erotica to the main stage, bridging the gap between late night down and dirty burlesque and a daytime squeaky-clean Broadway show.” -broadwayworld.com
An erotically charged evening of song, dance and burlesque, this sexy night out, conceived and created by director/choreographer Tricia Brouk, is a fusion pastiche, an array of song, dance, Broadway, and burlesque. Broadway performers moonlight at the Triad in a sexy, exciting variety show that is like no other show in New York City.
Tricia Brouk, a 2010 Dance Break featured choreographer, has also choreographed Denis Leary’s hit TV show Rescue Me on FX, and the films The Hoax (with Richard Gere), and John Turturro’s Romance and Cigarettes.
