Cabaret Singer Marissa Mulder: Illusions
Cabaret Singer Marissa Mulder Presents Illusions at the Triad
The 2011 winner of the prestigious MetroStar Talent Challenge, vocalist Marissa Mulder brings her critically acclaimed cabaret show Illusions
to the Triad. Illusions
finds Mulder -- through the music of such famed composers as Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer, Marvin Hamlisch, Leslie Bricusse and Mickey Leonard -- exploring fantasy, imagination, dreams and reality in song. Her voice, which the New York Times
glowingly described as having "a bounce and a twinkle," is backed by pianist and musical director Bill Zeffiro, bassist John Loehrke and saxophonist/clarinetist Pete Anderson (of Anderson Twins fame).
