This was such a wonderful experience! The crew was friendly and the ride was beautiful. I was skeptical about the free drink but it was a nice size glass of champagne (or you could choose wine or beer) which is actually sparkling wine that is the Classic Harbor Line's personal brand. Another nice surprise was that to purchase a bottle of "Champagne" was only $20 which was well worth it. Bottles of wine were $25. It was nice not to spend an insane amount of money on alcohol during an excursion. The seating is half inside and half outside with the inside seating being very comfortable. The ride was a nice length and very romantic.

This cruise was great! My husband and I had a wonderful time! The views were stunning, the complimentarly wine was tasty and the live jazz trio was entertaining. It was so romantic being on a boat, staring at the sunset and drinking a glass of wine. Loved it! I'm a native New Yorker, born and raised. It was refreshing knowing that our big city offers so many things to do like this romantic cruise. I LOVE NEW YORK! I will definitely recommend this cruise to my friends.
I was only able to get one tickets at a discount rate but was able to purchase an additional one from Classic Harbors website directly. We had a beautiful day with not a cloud in the sky, a light jacket and sunglasses are recommended. The yachet is small and lovely. It does get crowded and not so easy to change positions however the scenery was amazing and the staff very friendly. I DO NOT recommend the sail boat that they also run. We were able to see it returning to dock as we were about to take off and it looked like you were not able to move around at all. I heard that taking pictures on that boat was nearly impossible as te boat tilts and you need to remain seated.

This was a really pleasant event. We brought a couple of friends and have a very nice time chatting and enjoying the view. The crew was friendly and responsive, and the captain shared information about the sites we saw. I would heartily recommend this cruise.

A lovely yacht took us down the lower half of Manhattan and around the East side (just above the Williamsburg Bridge) before turning around and returning to Pier 59. The yacht had indoor and outdoor seating and a cash bar. The views were spectacular, beautiful views of Manhattan including Tribeca, the Financial district, the South Street Seaport, and the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. Also we past the Statue of Liberty slowly so we could take photographs. There was a cash bar (first drink was free), a friendly crew and the Captain narrated as we passed famous landmarks. The ride was almost exactly an hour and a half and on a warm spring evening, my boyfriend and I couldn't have asked for more!

Saturday's weather was terribly dark and rainy - and we were not particularly looking forward to a a sunset cruise around Manhattan! However, shortly before we headed to Pier 59 at Chelsea Piers, the weather cleared and proved perfect for a water tour of NY Harbor. The yacht is beautiful - such a lovely way to travel! The crew were terrific - knowledgable and upbeat. We enjoyed our complimentary beverage - we chose Blue Point Blueberry lager (delicious)- and took in the sights. There were probably 20 people total on the watercraft. Everything was nicely appointed - including the restroom. This was a nice romatic excursion for a couple (I treated my boyfriend as part of his birthday gift), but anybody would enjoy this. No need to worry about getting seasick either.

Absolutely fantastic. We weren't sure what to expect but a friend had recommended the Manhattan, so we gave it a shot. We were totally surprised and amazed at what a wonderful time we had. Unlike these new modern plastic & fiberglass boats you see, this is a true yacht with tons of vintage character. If you're coming to NY for a visit, this would be absolutely on my "hit list" of things to do.

The Sunset Cruise on Yacht Manhattan was all that we hoped it would be. Three long time NYC residents had a wonderful time enjoying the drinks (complimentary and purchased) sitting in the bow, feeling a bit of spray, watching the sunset, feeling the sea breeze. And the sunset was pretty spectacular. So glad the boat goes up the East River past the three bridges...when their lights are on and sparkling against the city lights it was breathtaking as was the close up view of Lady Liberty. And we all really liked the fact that there was NO narration or music. Just calm conversation. Everyone around us seemed to be having a good time. Very comfortable. Very pleasant crew. Only negative -- not long enough. Thank you Goldstar.com

It was wonderful time. We saw Manhattan from east river in sunset, was grate.

The boat was clean and well kept. The sail was just the right length. There was a very good jazz trio on board. It is worth the money,

My date and I had an excellent time on this cruise as the weather and other passengers made it a great trip. The boat travelled around the city showing little nooks and crannies that you don't get to see in the day to day rush of the City. It's an excellent mini-getaway with a great mini-assortment of stuff to drink at the bar. Bring your own munchies to complete the experience..

If you are looking for a more “cozy” type of evening, this will be a wonderful experience. I have been on Lunch, Dinner, and other shorter cruises on Hudson. The capacity is less then other cruise I have been to.
The ambiance is homely and private.
I think this is wonderful cruise for TWO.

great! that sums it up. It's a little difficult to find pier 62 but if you look for pier 59-62 then you are in the right area. do not eat at the cafe right by the dock... the workers are rude.

My date and I had a wonderful time...the weather was perfect and the staff were great!!! Very romantic and relaxing.... I would definitely do it again.

This was one of the most amazing events I've been to. Everything was perfect! From the boat, to the crew, to the ride, just everything. I'm sure the fact that it was perfect weather outside helped too, but all in all, it is definitely worth the money and time to go because it's seeing the city from a completely different view and from one of the most spectacular places...on the water!

This was truly wonderful! The boat is a lot bigger than it looks. Its very comfortable, clean and classy. The huge windows give you fantastic views of the skylines. This was the jazz cruise so the addition of music made the whole voyage even more special. The free glass of champagne gets you off to a good start. The crew was good-looking and very friendly. Just a great evening and just long enough at an hour and a half. Highly recommended!

Fantastic event. Although the day was overcast, the cabin was cozy, the crew helpful and friendly and the view from the Hudson always inspiring.

It was a great experience and will do it again very soon!

This was an awesome event! the deck crew and captain were witty, knowledgeable and extremely helpful! The volunteered to take pictures of the groups and were just hospital in general.
The 'house' champagne was surprisingly very good and the ambiance was to die for. Not sure how the managed but on the way back to the dock we were able capture the MOST BEAUTIFUL sunset pictures! That was priceless. The attendant who distributes the tickets was delightful and sweet as well. What was not mentioned was the soft drinks at the bar are complimentary which was a a pleasant surprise! I would STRONGLY recommended this excursion!

The experience was well worth the price of admission. I have serious motion sickness that I am trying to conquer. I was well able to handle this trip. Of course my husband teases me about a few faces I made. But for the most part it was fine. The views are amazing. The crew is just lovely. I would definitely bring friends on a cruise like this in a heart beat.

Great cruise! My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat was really nice, especially once on board. You can get some really good views from inside if you want to avoid the wind, but brilliant from the deck up front. Great pictures, and the crew was willing to held out with this. The views of the city skyline, the sun settting and the statue of liberty were perfect, as well as the view of small yachts and cruise ships going by. Good selection of drinks from the bar, and good commentary. The crew were all really great. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was a really good buy, well worth the money. I hope to do it again before leaving NY. Everything ran perfectly to schedule, and we were left wishing the cruise ran longer. If your thinking of going on this cruise, I definitely recommend it.

The cruise itself is very enjoyable. The prices for drinks, after you have your free glass of champagne, are outrageous. Why do they have to gauge people for extra drinks ?

The evening offered a calm beautiful moment in a busy noisy day. The boat was the perfect size and the crew was gracious and informative. Fortunately, the sunset cooperated, too. I recommend this to not only visitors to New York but to New Yorkers also who, from time to time, need to get away.

I loved it!!! I thought an hour and a half would be long - but it was so much fun. Time flew by!!! I would definitely do it again. The crew is so nice and courteous - and everyone in our group was just happy to be there. The weather was great, too! Which I am sure helped.

Fantastic. Classy, just the right amount of time...sunset was beautiful. Captain and crew were gracious and informative. Bar prices were very reasonable. Would definitely do this again -- in fact, I'm already planning on it!

It was a very good and relaxing experience. The crew was very friendly and the yacht felt very cozy and intimate. Would definitely recommend it.

Water was a bit choppy when we went out. The Manhattan wasn't really the best to head out especially when during peak times dodging other boats like the SI Ferry and Water Taxis. When it did, it was a very scenic cruise. Very good staff and the complementary NYS sparkling wine was a pleasant surprise.

The boat was beautiful, the staff was extremely considerate and helpful, and the ride was beyond compare. This was just a lovely way to spend an evening in the waters surrounding lower Manhattan. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time, the sunset was beautiful, the crew members were knowledgeable and helpful, our shipmates were very congenial, the champagne was quite good, the city lights were spectacular and the music was a pleasant addition,

It was really nice the view is spectacular. The drink was ok and almost at the end they did a special buy one get on free.

The cruise was Wonderful, augmented by the Live Jazz Band.

It was great - the only negative was it wasn't long enough!!! Everyone was charming and our group had a great time and most importantly the bride to be had a great time!!!! You will see me again with as many people as I can drag along....

It was a beautiful night and all 5 of us loved the cruise. Perfect for kids, teens and adults. We had an 11 year old and 17 year old along with 3 adults - all had a blast.

We had such a lovely evening aboard the Manhattan! The crew was so friendly & engaging, and watching the sunset while cruising around Manhattan was just spectacular. I would definitely recommend doing this!

GREAT! The sights we got to see were fantastic, especially on a nice summer night @ sunset. The crew was very friendly and there were great selections at the bar. This is a good thing for couples, families, or a group of friends to attend.

Very romantic and just right. I didn't bring a sweater and was fine. The drinks are affordable and the crew is very pleasant. Perfect for a date.

This was very nice, I highly recommend it

Open bar on the boat was an unexpected bonus! The staff was courteous and friendly! Will do again.

Smallish party boat, decorated tastefully and simply. First round of drinks on the house. Soft drinks are complimentary. Cheese and cracker platters for sale. Cruise left Chelsea Piers and headed south, around the tip of Manhattan. Turned around after the Williamsburg Bridge, cruised past the Statue of Liberty. Interesting and low-key announcements of the sites of the waterfront, including some history. Hard to understand some of the announcements. Very friendly crew of 3. If the cruise is very crowded I'm not sure how romantic it would be, but with four couples in total it was a very pleasant way to spend 90 minutes.

We had a great time despite the rain and the weather being naughty. The captain and the crew were very friendly. Very romantic night out in the city.

this was very enjoyable, it would of been even better if the clouds were gone, but the crew was very nice and all in all it was a great time.

The tour went from W 23/Chelsea Piers in Hudson River to midtown on the East River by way of Statue of Liberty. Awesome perspective. Bring a camera (maybe even some chips or snacks to pair with your drink).
The tour was lovely, easy and well executed by an informative and safe captain and efficient and friendly co-captain and bartender.
The yacht (surprisingly quiet in the waters) is a great option if weather is finicky (daily happening in NYC this year...) since there is an indoor cabin. It rained for part of our tour which made for the most spectacular sunset. See photo attached.
Of course you have no idea who you are getting on your tour... but fortunately the boat only accommodates about 30 people and the tour ends in 90-minutes so it's manageable...
I highly recommend this to NYers and out-of towners, couples, parents...

Missed our boat (booked on sunset cruise on yacht). The staff was accommodating and switched our reservation to the next available (Adirondack) tour City Lights. Crew was fantastic and friendly. We got caught in a thunder and lightening storm which was very exciting. Didn't feel nervous at any time in the hands of the skilled crew. Memorable adventure!

Wonderful time. The boat was very nice and perhaps because it was midweek and somewhat threatening weather, only had about 15 passengers (max is around 50). As it turned out the weather cleared and the cruise was great. The host first asked who was from the NY area, and since most were he offered to forgo the chatter commentary (which we all appreciated). One couple was from Australia, and he gave them a personalized (non-broadcast) tour.

It was really nice....the jazz, the view; the crew was really great. For those of you that doent like the heat this boat has an indoor area with a/c. The first alcoholic drink is complementary, non alcoholic drinks are free. You can bring your own snacks since there is no food service aboard.
WE had a awsome time.

A sunset cruise around the city. Get a glimpse of the city from the water. Nice way to end a day of siteseeing. Also can bring snacks and have a bit of a picnic on the boat. Also get a nice glimpse of the Statue of Liberty.

AWESOME.. live in the hood and finally went on trip after 10 years of watching tourist do it.. tons of fun.. GREAT CREW.. best deal in town !
reccomend it for locals and tourist as its a great way to see our GREAT CITY OF NYC !

We had a great time. The boat was beautiful ,the crew very friendly and the weather was perfect. I recommend it.

I went with my boyfriend we had a great time. It was rainy but the boat had indoor and outdoor seating the food was great the drinks were reasonably priced. I would do this again and highly recommed it if your looking to have a relaxing afternoon.

It was my mother's birthday and the crew made sure to make a big deal out of it and also give her lots of attention so she thoroughly enjoyed this part of her "present" from me! It was a lovely trip and a great evening. And happily, though it started out looking like rain...it ended with a gorgeous sunset!

This was the highlight of our 4 days in the city. We had an open night Friday so we booked the cruise and planned on having dinner afterwards. What a GREAT EXPERIENCE! The boat was emaculate, with pollished woodwork, very nice lounge style booths and was exceptionally clean. The boat is a 1920's replica but only a few years old. It was very quiet, smooth and oder free - I've been on other boats with nausiating diesel fumes and other oders, or engines that are so loud it is hard to have a conversation. This boat had none of that. Picture a romantic, hisotric lounge with view that slowly takes you up and down both sides of Manhattan on the water! Everything about it was wonderful, romantic thoroughly enjoyable. The crew was also top notch. Very friendly, professional and helpful. My next time back I'll be booking this again!

the 8 of us had a wonderful time. crew was great, view is somthing to see, jazz band not bad
this is a must do
r.finney

So much fun, took 8 people for son in laws birthday
lots of fun, ship crew were wonderful. Do make this event , parking is close, and you can take your own snacks.

Beautiful! Relaxing, comfortable and a very smooth ride. I highly recommend this cruise.

It was great experience!

Great boat, good small size. Good music, great crew.

My wife and I had a great time on this boat trip. The wine and beer were good. We ordered the cheese plate and it was delicious, epsecially for my picky wife. The crew were all friendly and the tour was very nice. The boat was absolutely fabulous and very nice and comfortable. It was very nice to be able to sit indoors and avoid the wind.

What a relaxing, wonderful way to enjoy Manhattan, at least the lower half, from the water! The boat is beautiful. The option of enjoying the scenery from the open front deck or the enclosed rear area (very comfortable seating) was marvelous. When one of the wine glasses jumped off the table (no edges on them??) when we crossed a wake , one of the workers immediately attended to the broken glass, asked what had been in it and insisted on replacing the wine with another glass, even though we were docking in 10 minutes. Very gracious, very much appreciated. We both (visitor to NYC and resident of NYC) enjoyed the tour and running commentary from the skipper, orienting us to the sights.

It's all true It was just perfect in every way. And yes, I leave in NYC. I highly recommend this to everyone! Just one thing I would recommend. Gag the captain, It would be even better. The commentary took away from the experience and are not necessary.

We had a good time, but I think $28 is still pretty steep for a 90 minute boat trip...the Circle Line 3-hour tour is roughly that price, and you get a full guided tour for that too! I would've been really mad if I'd paid full price ($50) for that.

I'm surprised some small hors d'oeuvres were not served at this time of the evening. Usually the cruises have been generous with food. I bought a little cheese tray for $15.00

Great cruise - beautiful boat and excellent crew. The boat is clean and comfortable offering indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a cash bar which is quite reasonable and your first drink is "on the house". The crew members are polite and very pleasant. We had a perfect evening and although a 1 1/2 hour cruise with a 6:30 pm departure does not really catch sunset, it was absolutely beautiful. The boat goes very close to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island - wonderful opportunities for picture taking.

Loved it! I am from NYC, and was showing a friend of mine from TN around town. The boat is nice - you have option of sitting outside, or sitting inside - the inside has cushioned seats with pillows and big glass windows that completely open which allow for a nice breeze. The complimentary wine was good - and there is a drink menu as well where you can order more for only $6.00 a glass or $20.00 per bottle! Very romantic - we did the 6:30pm cruise - all couples on the boat. I would highly recommend. Crew is great and at 1.5 hours it's not too long or too short. I would definitely go again!

This cruise was so much fun! I highly recommend it to anyone. It was so much for for locals and tourists!

Loved it, beautiful ride and very friendly staff. I would recommend to tourists and new yorkers alike.

We were delightfully surprised to find that a jazz band would be playing during our cruise. This really made the event. The boat was really nice and comfortable and so was the staff. Even with some rain, the cruise was very enjoyable.

Very romantic idea!

it was perfectly wonderful. i was entertaining two out of town guests, i was worried i would be bored because i had seen everything before. but the entire cruise was so relaxing. the crew were incredibly nice and informative. even if you are a resident of nyc, you will be in love with this cruise. YOU MUST GO.

We took our friends from Texas and had a fabulous time. The crew was great, very friendly! The cruise length (90 min) was perfect and allowed us time before and after to enjoy the city. I would highly recommend this!

Although it was pouring rain, we had a great time. The staff was so nice and the live jazz music was a pleasure!!!!

great cruise - complete with beautiful views, friendly crew and good narration. free drink is a great bonus!

This was the perfect girls get-together cruise. Lovely and relaxing and beautiful sights. Bottle of wine was only $20!!! Loved it.

We had a great time. A good-length cruise, friendly crew, and bar prices that weren't exorbitant. Highly recommended.

I bought this trip for my parents and some visiting relatives. They absolutely LOVED it...I'm thinking of taking one of these trips myself soon.

Excellent value for money. Had a great time - the crew were great, the trip was great and we got some excellent photos of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. Bought tickets for $33 online and included a free drink - I went for the champagne but to be honest it wasn't great. Go for the beer or wine. Definitely worth doing this cruise though.

it was a great time. i took my boyfriend as a birthday gift. i was nervous at first because the forecast said it was going to rain. we were lucky that the weather held out until the ride was over. but the glass enclosed seating was cozy and would have been just as good if would have rained. the crew was super nice and helpful. they came over often to make sure we were enjoying our time. it was super romantic and we had such great. we look forward to doing it again.

It is a very nice yacht, everything was very clean and nice looking. The interior was really cool with a loungey feel and they played nice jazz music. They also have a bar which was great. It is entirely glass enclosed so you are indoors and not freezing in the wind, which worked out well for us since it was raining. I recommend this especially for couples and anyone looking for a more intimate type of cruise.

Great place to enjoy your after dinner drinks. I took my husband for this birthday on a Sunday. The weather was rainy but the boat had an indoor section that was very cozy and comfortable. Although is wasn't sunny we enjoyed the music, the sites and drinks. I recommend this to any couple who wants to do something different besides dinner and a movie. Loved it!

this was a fantastic way to spend the early evening of my dad's 62nd birthday. the crew was approachable, skilled and fun. there were four different generations of folks in my group and every single person had a memorable time. i highly recommned this ... and i am new yorker. we are already planning our next trip.

The sunset cruise was a pleasant ride with great views. Unfortunately it was quite cold when we went and the wind was brutal. I would recommend this on a nice clear, warm day.
