At first...I was turned off by how small and dank the venue was! We thought we were going to have to drink a LOT of booze to have fun, which wasn't a problem, since there's a VERY strict 2 drink minimum. Expect to pay about $8 a drink, plus tip (Makes the $7.50 ticket actually a $27.50 ticket). It was a really good time though, the actors are great and were definitely funny. Go there to participate or you won't have fun! Not sure I'd pay that much to go again....but we had fun!

The waitress though...was awful! She was really rude and cranky. Be prepared to not get any questions answered without angry sarcasm. I had the Sake-colada - tasted a bit like tanning lotion and didn't get me drunk at all.

Maybe the actors had a bad night, but we found we didn't laugh nearly as much as we thought we would. Also, I think the venue only had one waitress for about 75 people in the audience. We were at an 8pm show and by the time the waitress took our order it didn't leave much time at all for us to down our 2 drink minimum and eat our cheesecake.

Description

May 10-August 13, 2013 -- Hashtag: You're It!
Chicago City Limits' #Hashtag You're It is the group's 39th improv comedy revue since it came to New York from the Windy City. #Hashtag... combines audience inspired improvisations with comedy scenes and songs as fresh as today's headlines. There's an entire musical created on-the-spot -- book, music, songs -- based upon an audience member's recent experience, an improvised version of the game show Jeopardy, the creation of a never before seen movie, and lots more. Scripted material takes aim at the faces, places and events that surround us, from congressional haggling, the NRA and streets of Benghazi to Lindsay Lohan unleashed, 50 Shades of Grey, and lots more!
