Looking to relax after a hectic day. This is the perfect solution. Beautiful scenery, great cruise and fantastic crew. Definitely planning to go again and bring along some friends. It's a great escape after a typical New York day.

This is a very romantic cruise. The boat is beautiful, smooth and fast. The crew was very friendly and provided informative (and fun) information. The city lights are lovely. It goes to the Statue of Liberty and back (and the Statue at night is truly magnificent). They serve at least 3 rounds of drinks during the 2 hour trip. It can get a little chilly on the water, so take a light jacket. If you forget, though, they do have some blankets. Great for anniversaries, birthdays, or just a nice, romantic evening. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Description

Experience New York City lights like you never have on this sail along the bright and beautiful borough of Manhattan.

Climbing aboard Adirondack, an 80-foot wooden pilot schooner, you will quickly forget the mayhem and noise of Manhattan street life. You'll take in the famous Manhattan skyline as it was meant to be seen — from the water. You will also enjoy spectacular views of Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge.

Some of the night's beautifully lit highlights will include:
•Chelsea Piers, a famous stretch of docks on the Hudson
•Battery park, a green haven resting on the southern tip of Manhattan
•Ellis Island, the immigrant doorway to America from 1892 to 1954
•The Statue of Liberty, bearing the torch of America's freedom

Complimentary champagne, wine, beer and soda will be provided. (Note: The crew will serve a few rounds, but it is not an unlimited booze cruise. The crew aims to create an elegant, relaxing, peaceful, and safe experience for all guests.)

The crew will be shutting off the boat's engines and setting sail for as much of the trip as possible.

About the Ticket Supplier: Classic Harbor Line LLC

Built in 1994 in the Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, the Schooner Adirondack is an 80-foot wooden replica of a classic turn-of-the-century pilot schooner.

Heading south from Chelsea Piers and down the Hudson River to Battery Park, the Schooner Adirondack passes by Ellis Island and sails out to the Statue of Liberty. Wind and time permitting, she will head toward Governor's Island, breeze by the Financial District and the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River.

The 1920s-style motor yacht "Manhattan," also built by Scarano Boat Building, is brand new to the New York City harbor as of spring 2006. This 80-foot, wood-trimmed, Gilded Era commuter yacht runs full circumnavigations of Manhattan, dinner cruises and sunset cruises, and is available for private charter.
