It was such a pleasant surprise - weather was good - people were so happy and friendly. Have lived in NEW YORK CITY most of my life and would have never thought to do this if it weren't for the emails from GOLDSTAR! THANKS! It was terrific! I recommend it very very highly!

So much fun. Its always such a nice thing to do to get into the spirit. We went last year as well, but this year 2 singers from the Chelsea Opera serenaded us all on the gorgeous boat. The crew is fantastic (TIP THEM!) and the drinks are good and not skimpy. My fiance and I have decided that this will become a yearly holiday tradition. Its fun with a small group or just the two of you. Nice for a family, but maybe boring for small children.

Great fun - NYC is so beautiful at night - LOVED IT!

Built in 1994 in the Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, the Schooner Adirondack is an 80-foot wooden replica of a classic turn-of-the-century pilot schooner. Heading south from Chelsea Piers and down the Hudson River to Battery Park, the Schooner Adirondack passes by Ellis Island and sails out to the Statue of Liberty. Wind and time permitting, she will head toward Governor's Island, breeze by the Financial District and the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River. The 1920s-style motor yacht "Manhattan," also built by Scarano Boat Building, is brand new to the New York City harbor as of spring 2006. This 80-foot, wood-trimmed, Gilded Era commuter yacht runs full circumnavigations of Manhattan, dinner cruises and sunset cruises, and is available for private charter.
